Fort Fairfield High School Athletic Hall of Fame Announces Inaugural Class

The inaugural class of Fort Fairfield High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame is officially being announced this Wednesday, May 28th. The seventeen member selection committee had 68 initial nominations to research for it’s inaugural class from over a 100-year history of athletics at Fort Fairfield High School. The Hall of Fame has 3 categories selection that include athletes, coaches and contributors.

   The induction ceremony will be held at Fort Fairfield High School on Thursday evening, July 17th, 2014, coinciding with the Maine Potato Blossom Festival week. More information on tickets for the event and event details will be forthcoming through the media and the Hall’s website.

   Listed below are the names of those being inducted into the inaugural class of Athletic Hall of Fame.

   Delmar “Chappy” Clark, athlete; Kenneth Clark, coach; Richard Cormier, athlete; Charles Lockhart, contributor; Keith Mahaney, athlete; Dallas McCrea, coach; Hilary McNamee, athlete; Ralph Michaud Jr., athlete; Tim Nightingale, athlete; Jeanette Peters, coach; and Thomas Towle, athlete.
