Former Navy Seal Faces Domestic Violence Charges in Caribou’s Superior Court

PERHAM, Maine - A former U.S. Navy Seal is expected to be scheduled to appear for trial on Domestic Violence charges in Caribou next month.

The prosecutor in charge is John Pluto, from the D.A.'s office. Mr. Pluto says the case is currently pending in the Superior Court, Caribou, and is on a trial list for a jury trial. “There are a number of cases also awaiting trial, and priority is often given to people who are being held in jail awaiting trial,” Mr. Pluto told the Fort Fairfield Journal. “The next trial term we anticipate is in early January, but no trial list has yet been issued by the court.”
