The Mark of the Beast’s Tools Are Here Now!

By:  Dr. Katherine Albrecht, Ed. D.

Fort Fairfield Journal, February 3, 2016

We are so close to the Mark of the Beast.  Humanity has never been closer.  Of course, you can say that about any year ever, from the time of Christ until now humanity has never been closer.  But I'm feeling like we're really close.  I've been watching this since I was eight years old.  Back then it didn't feel like we were close at all.  We didn't have a way to buy and sell with a number.  We didn't have a way to put a number on a person.  We didn't have a way to monitor sales in Tokyo and Mt. Kilimanjaro and in Amazon jungles all simultaneously.  We didn't have internet, we didn't have satellites, we didn't have smart phones and cell phones.

I had my first, personal experience with the actual tools of the Mark of the Beast this past December. I bought a wooden puzzle from a vender in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, New Hampshire.  You know how in the Christmas season, vendors set up in the middle of the Mall and have like carts and they have these wonderful wooden puzzles.  Well, I got one of them because I thought it was kind of cool and I sent it as a gift to my father-in-law.  When I went to pay for it I realized I didn't have any cash so I pulled out a credit card.

I rarely used credit cards in the past.  I could probably count on one hand the total number of times I used a credit card before getting breast cancer in 2011.  I'm certainly not recommending you use credit cards, I actually think they're pretty bad, but since that time I've really had to think about which battles I'm willing to fight and that was one personally that I was no longer willing to fight.  Does this mean that I'm going to pay with a wristband?  Never, ever, ever.  I will starve before I do that because a wristband is one step closer to a mark in your right hand.

But, I did pay with a credit card this time and to my horror, my absolute shock, chagrin and dismay, the vendor in the middle of the Pheasant Lane Mall takes my credit card from me and he puts it in a device attached to his cell phone.  This is like my worst nightmare because it brought me up close and personal to the research I had done on the tools of the Mark of the Beast over a decade ago.  I put a picture of an early prototype of this device in a Powerpoint presentation I did all the way back in 2003 when such things didn't exist and it was just being proposed as this concept of what could happen and I said look what's going to happen.

At some point you're not going to be able to go to even a yard sale to buy a book or a sail boat in somebody's back yard without a number to buy and sell.  Because even the guy at the yard sale is going to have a device that hooks him up to the global financial network via his smart phone, or whatever device that morphs into in the future.  In 2003 I had no idea that would be a smart phone.  The Apple iPhone came out only in 2008, somewhere in that range.  It has not been with us that long at all.  In 2003 there was no such device.  Sure there were cell phones, but they were like, “Hello, how are you, goodbye,” those kind of phones.  There weren't so-called “smart phones” and here I was in real life seeing more than ten years later, the very thing that I had cautioned was coming.  The thing that I had sounded like Paul Revere, “the Red Coats are coming” - the Mark of the Beast is coming.

So this vendor takes my credit card and puts it in the device and before I could even say I changed my mind, I don't want to buy it he had already scanned it into his phone.  I didn't know what I thought was going to happen.  It certainly didn't occur to me that was going to happen.  I just thought the guy in the middle of the mall would have some other way of taking my credit card than his phone.  But, it's here.

A lot of the things that I've warned about over the past fifteen years since I've been an activist, and since I've really been on this mission as a Christian to warn people about the Mark of the Beast, are here and now in use today.
