RETA M. (WILSON) FURLONG BROUILLET

St. PETERSBURG, Florida -  Reta M. Brouillet, 76, of St. Petersburg, Florida, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Reta was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, on August 23, 1940, to the late Hood and Ruth (Johnston) Wilson. Reta worked in Hotel Management during her time spent in NH, as well as her later years in Florida. She possessed a deep faith which she shared lovingly with her children and grandchildren, of whom she was so proud. Reta will be remembered as soft spoken with only kind words shared, and as a deeply caring and selfless wife, mother, and grandmother. Reta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clarence E. Brouillet, her brother Arnold Wilson, and her first husband and father of her children, George B. Furlong. Reta is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Furlong ) Longver and husband Kevin, her son Steven Furlong and wife Cathy, her grandson Rafe Longver and wife Anne, and her granddaughter Sabrina Longver. She is also survived by her step-sons Ed Brouillet (and Ada Rocchi), Joe Brouillet, Danny Brouillet, and Tommy Brouillet, and also her brother Eugene E. Wilson, and her sister and best friend Phyllis (Wilson) Linville and her husband Jim. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special cousins Millie and Clark Jalbert, and many friends, including longtime friend Janet Owens, and from her later years, special friend Ken and special friend Nina. The family would like to thank the staff at Suncoast Hospice in St. Petersburg Florida for the comfort care they provided Reta, as well a special thank you to Reta’s son Steven and his wife Cathy for never leaving her side. A private service will be held at a later date, at the NH Veterans Cemetery, together with her beloved Clarence.
