PHYLLIS M. CLARK

Fort Fairfield – Phyllis M. Clark, 79, wife of the late Raymond M. Clark, passed away Tuesday morning May 17, 2016 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following an extended illness. She was born April 27, 1937 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Orie and Georgianna (Cyr) Chambers. She attended Fort Fairfield schools and was married to Raymond M. Clark on October 15, 1955. In 1962, the family moved to Rhode Island where Phyllis worked at Levington Manufacturing in West Kingston for 21 years, and while living in Rhode Island was active in the Perryville Grange in South Kingston. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband Raymond on September 26, 1996; two brothers, Frank and Robert Chambers; one sister, Mildred Gibbs. She is survived one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Jane Clark of Fort Fairfield; two brothers, Orie Chambers and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield, RI, Glen Chambers of Caribou; two sisters, Laura Johnston and her husband Hazen of Centreville, New Brunswick, Myrtle Sartor of Texas; one sister-in-law, Myrtle Chambers of Connecticut; one granddaughter, Michele Czosnek and her husband Ryan of Fort Fairfield; two great grandchildren, Kaiden and Karter Czosnek, both of Fort Fairfield; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Monday May 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield with Fred Clark officiating. A time of continued fellowship and refreshments will follow at the Fort Fairfield VFW Paul Lockhart Post Number 6187. Interment will take place Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) at the Larlee Creek Cemetery, Perth, New Brunswick. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Clark to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O.
