CARVELL D. COTE
Fort Fairfield – Carvell D. Cote, 85, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday April 11, 2017 in Waldorf, MD. He was born March 27, 1932 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Alphonse and Eva Louise (Pelkey) Cote. He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School and was a lifelong communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. Carvell had been employed by the former A& P Processing Plant and later by Interstate Foods in Fort Fairfield for many years. In addition to his parents, Carvell was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Fuller; dear friend Gerrard Guimond; and former wife and longtime friend Gloria (Cote) Kinney; one brother, Albert Cote; one sister, Pauline Davis. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Vincent Clark of Waldorf, MD; three grandchildren, Matthew and Aaron Trombley both of Fort Fairfield and Brian Fuller of Kansas City, MO; several niece and nephews. Friends called Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main Street, Fort Fairfield with Fr. Alex Maria Doss celebrant. Interment will take place at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, later in the spring. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Carvell to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O.
