GAYLE ANNE DAVENPORT
Fort Fairfield & Sacramento, CA – Gayle Anne Davenport, 65, passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 16, 2015 at a Sacramento, CA hospital. She was born April 5, 1950 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Jasper G. and Florence E. (Hafford) Davenport. She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1968 and served with the United States Air Force from October 10, 1975 until March 26, 1979, attaining the rank of Senior Airman. Following her military discharge, Gayle became employed for over 30 years by the California Department of Human Assistance in Sacramento. She was predeceased by her father, Jasper G. Davenport; and one brother, Terry W. Davenport. She is survived by her mother, Florence Davenport of Fort Fairfield; one brother, Larry G. Davenport and his companion Karen of Fort Fairfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and B.J. Moore of Kingman, AZ; one niece, Nerissa Archuletta of Kingman, AZ; one nephew, Deven Archuletta of Harrisburg, PA. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. A time of continued fellowship will follow at her mother’s home, 75 Riverside Avenue, Fort Fairfield.
