CLAIRE (McKENNEY) KETCH ESPOSITO

MADISON, Conn.—Claire “Bodie” (McKenney) Ketch Esposito passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Watrous Nursing Center in Madison, CT after a long illness.  She was born in Fort Fairfield on November 28, 1928, the daughter of Harrison and Anne (McCarthy) McKenney. 

   She attended Fort Fairfield High School as a member of the Class of 1946. She married and started here family in Aroostook Junction, New Brunswick, Canada.  She later lived in Northport and Clinton, CT for many years prior to moving to Carmel, Maine, where her youngest daughter grew up.  Later, she moved back to Madison, CT

   For a time, she worked for Ponds, Inc. in Clinton, CT.  She made many beautiful things with her talent for knitting and crocheting.  She very much enjoyed caring for her family and their home, cooking, and getting together with family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents; siblings—Wendell, Mona, Gilbert, Joanne, Carl, Gerald, Dale and Eugene; and her husband, Dominique Esposito.  She is survived by her sisters Janice Cummings from San Antonio, Texas, and Inez Lynch from Fort Fairfield; children, Terry (Arthur Lang, Jr), Robert “Bob” (Veronica), Kathy (Scott Coale), and Lisa Jordyn; grandchildren, Derrick and Natasha Lang, Chad and Dylan Ketch, Adam Smith, and Conner and Avery Jordyn and many nieces and nephews.  A graveside service was held for her at the Clinton Indian River Cemetery in Clinton, Conn., on August 5, 2017 at 9:50 a.m.
