HELEN A. McMANN

Fort Fairfield—Helen A. McMann age 82 passed away April 5, 2017 at the Bangor Maine Veterans Home after an extended illness. She was born August 2, 1934 in Crystal Maine. The daughter of Lester and Nora Chambers. She was a graduate of Patten Academy. She was a member of the United Parish in Fort Fairfield. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vaughn and grandson Matthew McMann. She was a loving Mother and grandmother. She loved eating trout that her grandkids caught for her. She is survived by three sons Toby McMann and his companion Joanne Skidgell of Presque Isle, Gregory and Vaughn II McMann of Fort Fairfield. Two daughters Glenna Blade ( David ) of Orient Maine and Yvonne Pelletier ( Mark ) of Fort Fairfield. Two sisters Bessie Boone and Madeline Boone ( Darrell ) both of Crystal, one brother Robert Chambers of Crystal. Two sister-in-laws Phyllis Chambers of Crystal and Joyce Chambers of Patten. Eight grandchildren David Blade, Amanda Greaves and April Archer of Presque Isle, Josh McMann of Saint Charles Md., Lori McMann of Easton, Mark Pelletier II , Madison McMann, and Vaughn McMann III all of Fort Fairfield. Eight great grandchildren Sierra, Alyssa, Adam, Aaden, Alyssa, Mason, Qwynn and Penelope. She worked at various plants, as a secretary for King Harvey at the Review office for several years and as a C.N.A. at Community General Hospital. There will be a celebration of her life at the United Parish Church in Fort Fairfield on April 15, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Pastor Meg Hegemann and Pastor Mary Miller officiating. A burial service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Caribou at a later date.
