ALBERT E. ST. PIERRE

Fort Fairfield – Albert E. St. Pierre, 82, husband of Jeannette (Gagnon) St. Pierre, passed away Sunday evening, February 23, 2020 at his Fort Fairfield home, following a period of declining health. He was born May 18, 1937 in Caribou, the son of Albert E. and Irene (Duplissis) St. Pierre. He attended Van Buren schools and was married to Jeannette Gagnon on April 22, 1957. Albert had been employed by P.L. Willey in Caribou as a carpenter for many years, was a 4th degree member of the Fort Fairfield Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1753, and was a communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by one brother, James St. Pierre; one sister, Lillian Michaud. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette St. Pierre of Fort Fairfield; three sons, Kevin St. Pierre of Caribou, Gary St. Pierre and his wife Toni of Jacksonville, FL, Steven St. Pierre and his wife Wendy of Perham; four daughters, Judy Brown and her husband Steven of Woodland, Lorraine Curtis and her husband Richard of Presque Isle, Linda Brown and her husband Kenneth of Caribou, Debra St. Peter of Bloomington, IL; one brother, Gillman St. Pierre and his wife Judy of Lake Placid, FL; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday February 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Council No. 1753, 260 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Interment will take place at the St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Van Buren later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Albert to the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1753, c/o Tony Levesque, P.O. Box 827, Fort Fairfield, Maine 04742.
