DAVID G. TUCK

Fort Fairfield – David G. Tuck, 55, husband of Lori A. (Graves) Tuck, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 16, 2017 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born November 16, 1961 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Gary and Thalia Jane (Griffeth) Tuck. He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1980 and also attended the University of Rhode Island and Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Presque Isle where he received his electrical degree. David had been employed as an electrician for many years, starting with his father Gary and had been self-employed as an electrician for over twenty-five years. He was married to Lori A. Graves on July 14, 1984. David had been a dedicated Cub Scout Leader at Troop Number 194, Fort Fairfield for a number of years and was proud that both his sons earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and trips to the family camp at Morrow Plantation. David especially loved to talk and visit, and his cooking was well known by many. His family will remember him as a “Master Trivia Champion”. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Jane Tuck; wife, Lori A. Tuck; two sons, Brandon Tuck and Andrew Tuck, all of Fort Fairfield; one daughter, Elizabeth Jane Tuck and her companion Jaran Bushey of Brewer; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary II and Lynn Tuck of Presque Isle; one sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Roger Giggey of Palmyra; several nieces and nephews; in-laws; extended family members; and many dear friends. Friends called Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. The funeral service was conducted Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church, 37 Currier Road, Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Ronald Doughty officiating. Interment followed at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments was held after the interment services in the church fellowship hall.
