U.S. Army Training to Combat Frustrated Americans During Upcoming Economic Collapse

By:  David Deschesne

Fort Fairfield Journal, August 19, 2015

Operation Jade Helm is the code name for the U.S. Army’s ongoing training exercise on U.S. soil that pits the military against private citizens and trains them in the policies and procedures on how to combat, round up, inter and ultimately exterminate Americans who are frustrated and disgusted with the mess the occupational government in the District of Columbia has placed us all in.

Jade Helm is using U.S. Army Rangers in civilian clothing to infiltrate various portions of the U.S. Southwest to practice blending in with society and operate undetected.   The tyranny isn’t limited to the Southwest.  The August 8, 2015 Bangor Daily News mentions how Portland, Maine police are also getting in on the authoritarian fun by training with the U.S. military to prepare for civil unrest.

“Jade Helm 15 is the project by which Obama is using the U.S. Military to annex Texas to the United States later this fall, using military force if necessary,” wrote Mike Tesh from ncscooper.com. “Texans are vowing to ‘not give in without a fight’, and have in fact already fired shots.”

According to Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a USASOC spokesman, the upcoming exercise called NC-17 is scheduled to take place this summer at several locations in Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, and Rough and Ready. The Lieutenant made a point to mention that neither North San Juan nor Cedar Ridge will be included as they are considered “too hostile.” The exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for heavily armed Police Forces because they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the county on a moment’s notice.

In order to make the Jade Helm exercise more realistic, role players are being employed to represent the disgruntled Americans that the Army will practice subduing and arresting.

Nevada City Police Chief Tim Foley has urged that residents stay calm and not panic when they see the mass arrests of their neighbors occurring, stressing, “again, the people you will see getting thrown down and cuffed en-masse are paid actors. No real harm is coming to them…unless Rudiger (the police K-9) bites somebody on accident.”

The military is practicing a concept outlined in the 2009 Rand Corporation called a “Stability Police Force” (SPF).

The report states, “SPFs present an interesting hybrid of policing and military requirements.  Personnel with real police skills and a policing organizational culture would be critical to the success of an SPF.  However, because of the circumstances it could face when deployed, and the requirement to take on high-end policing tasks against organized and well-armed opponents or to control large crowds, it will also need small-unit skills and some military-like training.” (see A Stability Police Force for the United States, ©2009 Rand Corporation, p. 66)

The military will also be practicing interring civilians as outlined in their training manual, FM 3-19.40, Military Police Internment/Resettlement Operations Manual, which was updated August, 2001—just one month before the 9/11 attacks in New York and D.C.

The internment manual says a military tribunal will be used to adjudicate whether a civilian should be considered a military target and needs to be interred in a prison camp.  It also discusses “Populace and Resource Control” such as curfews, movement restrictions, travel permits, registration cards and resettlement operations to be deployed against the citizenry.

Economic analysts have stated that as bad as the U.S. stock market collapse of 2008 was, it wasn’t allowed to fully correct itself because of the Federal Reserve printing massive new influxes of paper money.  This “Quantitative Easing” - or increasing the money supply - merely papered over the problem and a much worse correction is expected perhaps as early as this Fall.

“Over the past few months many of us have received warnings that our economy will collapse as early as October of this year due to the rampant misdeeds of politicians in both parties & manipulation of stocks, real-estate, commodities & the money market. Most of the warnings recommend diversifying your investments by putting funds into 'physical' gold & silver,” writes independent researcher, Chuck Thomas.  “Our nation's last financial banking scam/crisis wasn't all that long ago & we haven't seen leadership of either party or the banksters in-charge of America take any common sense steps to protect America's borders, individual rights/freedoms, the economy, jobs or national security.”

Under an economic collapse scenario, the National Guard may also be activated to quell dissent.

According to the National Guard Regulation 500-5, “Rules of engagement generally do not apply to National Guard forces conducting domestic law enforcement support missions.  National Guard forces follow rules for the use of force instead.” (see NG Reg 500-5, sec. 4.4 (a) )

Operation Jade Helm will be taking place through the rest of this summer into Fall.  There are reports of odd military activity taking place from Maine to Texas and all the way to Alaska as the U.S. military trains to take on the American people during what could be the worst economic collapse in U.S. history.
