DAYNA ELIZABETH (YORK) DIXON

Fort Fairfield – Dayna Elizabeth (York) Dixon, 5 months, passed away Saturday morning, June 4, 2016 from complications due to a lifelong heart condition, at Children’s Hospital in Boston. She was born January 7, 2016 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Dwight A. Dixon and Bethany J. York. Although her life was brief, Dayna touched the lives of all who met her, and she touched the lives of so many people. She is survived by her parents of Fort Fairfield; maternal grandparents, Dana York of Fort Fairfield and his companion Janet McLean, April Levesque of Mars Hill; paternal grandfather, Everton Dixon of Springfield, MA; maternal great grandparents, Wilmer and Linda York of Fort Fairfield, Larry and Linda Willette of Washburn. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Marian Dyte. Friends may call Thursday June 9, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield.
