ROBERT L. LEVESQUE

 

Fort Fairfield – Robert Lee Levesque, 69, husband of the late Edwina M. (Gorneault) Levesque, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning February 28, 2016 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born July 19, 1946 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Gilman and Vera (Hitchcock) Levesque.

 

He attended Limestone and Fort Fairfield schools and was married to Edwina Gorneault on November 7, 1964. He had been employed by Wayne Thibeau Farms, Fort Fairfield for thirty-two years and later worked for Soderberg Construction for close to 20 years.

 

In addition to his mother, Robert was predeceased by his wife Edwina on May 5, 1999.

 

He is survived by his father, Gilman Levesque of Greeley, PA; one son, Randy Levesque of Mars Hill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bertha and Alain Morin of Aroostook, New Brunswick; Nancy and Terry Overlock of Mobile, Alabama; six grandchildren, Luc Morin of Moncton, NB, Martin Morin of Fredericton, NB, Randy Lee Levesque of Caribou, Rachel Levesque of Washburn, Derek Overlock of Texas, Christopher Overlock of Florida; one great grandson, Evan; and the “Boys at the Potato House”. He also leaves behind his companion, Gloria Williams of Fort Fairfield.

 

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating.
