JOHN JOSEPH WASSON

Sabattus, Maine—John Joseph Wasson died unexpectedly on February 12, 2019 at home in Sabattus, Maine.  He was born the middle son of Mary (Page) Wasson and Ronald Clyde Wasson on January 31, 1966 in Fort Fairfield.  John graduated from Fort Fairfield High School, spent four years serving his country in the Marines then worked at Bath Iron Works.   John is survived by his Mother, Mary Wasson of Fort Fairfield, two brothers, Wayne Wasson of Sabattus and Jerry Wasson and his wife Stephanie of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He is also survived by three nephews and one niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  John was predeceased by his father, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.  The service was conducted at the Pinette Funeral Home in Lewiston, Maine, at 3:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019.  He will be interred at a later date in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
